UPDATE ON GATHERING 2026

18/11/25 IMPORTANT UPDATE

Due to very slow uptake since putting this event out on sale on 5th April 2025 - Just 25 at todays date.

We have already had too many sleepless nights with the uptake also what we know financially we will be facing in 2026 to deliver this show, so had no option to look very closely at all the costs/band fees involved in this show then take an impossible decision to cancel The Meffs appearance on the 2026 Gathering with full agreement from their management as of today.

Not a decision we wanted to come to but takes alot of financial pressure off us, so thanks to The Meffs management for their understanding in this matter.

We honestly thought with their inclusion, superb live show that we already have witnessed in the Dread, passionate performances, exposure on some very very high profile shows in 2025 so far would have been a no brainer along with some brilliant supports on this TEN BAND billing for just £20 to have way more sales in the bag.

That seems NOT to be the case thus far and do appreciate you may be more content to see The Meffs at Scotland Calling or supporting SLF pretty much weeks apart from The Gathering also that it's still 3 and a bit months away. So for whatever the reason and dare say there are many we haven't seen the uptake we hoped for.

If we waited and waited then hoped more sales would have come in well before the end of the year still feel it would have left us in the same financial juggling act.

I don't mind telling you costs for the full show would have be close to £3000 in it's current form.

With just £500 in the door so far to be open and VERY blunt - that's miles away and in current last minute buying climate not a gamble we can take or give any more time to. Sorry to tell you that.

It's this route or no 2026 Gathering.

SO....what happens now.

We are going to restructure the full day in the coming weeks which we are still very much committed to host.

Ticket Holders (will be emailed directly via universe today) that have committed will have a choice - take a refund if you were only coming because the Meffs were headline which is fair enough or hold fast keeping your ticket, showing your support for what will come for the revised line up that will be as strong as we can afford.

We will be talking things through with all bands, then have a revised line up for you still at £20 which we still feel is awesome value then ask those who are and have been holding off to decide before the year is out if you intend coming along to get a ticket and being blunt again, stop the last minute punk mind set of paying on the door.

It's crippling and appreciate you might not see it but it is.
