So far..... No Bad news for a change but think we've had our fair share lately including mini drain disasters, amps blowing up, speakers disintegrating and multitude of repairs to deal with that fortunately the highly tuned technicians were all able to fix in house and wash the bodily fluids away. All of which no one would ever know has gone on behind the scenes but without it would have potentially stopped the machine in it's tracks.
We haven't stopped after quite a hectic run through our yet again amazing Halloween Party weekends in October then right into November with another epic night of LED ASTRAY playing another absolute blinder of a night of Led Zeppelin tracks.
THANK YOU ALL who came and made it amazing and the effort put in on the Halloween Nights especially.
Incidentally LED ASTRAY picked out the 50th Anniversary of Physical Graffiti and playing it in full with the exception of the acoustic based acts. Worth the mention as you won't get any better than these guys.
2026 will see the 20th Anniversary of Led Astray and hopefully we can get a date set in stone soon for all the fans.
Rocking on November saw Jam Tribute - Sound Affex return last Friday to headline their own PACKED show after supporting and marking their debut with the Skababs earlier in the year.
A superb night - nae luck if ye missed it.
Followed up by another text book night from the worlds No1 tribute to the Stranglers - Straighten Out.
Shaggy mentioned it's been 15 years we've been coming up to play in Bathgate and we love it. The 2026 dates are confirmed and the lads will be back up on Sat 25 April with tickets now on sale via the website and universe.
NOW at the midway point of the month the quality keeps coming thick and fast.
This Friday night THE POSTCARDS hit Bathgate for the first time.
These guys are as close to a time machine you will get as they hit 80's mega songs from a wide range of the decade Indie to Punk and everything in between.
Now if you are happy paying £15 a ticket for their home town show in December then this £5 - YEAH £5 a ticket is an absolute NO BRAINER.
Next up another first outing to this tribute band who take us down in the elevator with a full night of AEROSMITH.
Don't miss out on getting a ticket oh and for the fitba's on clan - ye know there is highlights to see AFTER the show. Live shows don't have that facility - it's a one off so save yourself the pain, anguish, joy or heartache watching Scotland over in Greece this Saturday and be at the only place that rocks to see DREAM ON

Rocking in November we still have FOUR MORE nights for ye. PLEASE have a look - PLEASE grab a ticket if you are coming as we are not clairvoyant, who ever she is.
ALL available via the live show lists featuring bands from as far away as Bathgate and LONDON.

SORRY in ADVANCE.
Not to keep on this subject which you may or may not be aware of or bothered about but ADVANCE TICKETS are STILL vital to small venues to us. 100's have been grabbing their tickets in the last month running upto Halloween so know you see things when you want to BUT PLEASE KEEP checking every week for new shows being listed or remind yourself of ones you've not grabbed a ticket for as there is only so much we can do and as explained the team behind the scenes, all two of us....one and a half always end up with something to soak up time so it's on you too.
TO show how vital it is these days for ADVANCE TICKETS another show was cancelled some weeks ago many who seen the posts and reminders are now just beginning to look for a ticket and now noticing there is no show listed.
The original show scheduled on 29th November that WAS featuring XSLF and FOUR support bands.
It had to be cancelled with just 8 sales in advance despite good level of promotion and exposure but very little uptake in the 7 months that was on sale committed to a ticket.
We had 8 sales in March 2025 right from the off then NOTHING for 6 months.
Again not going to debate the why not's, who seen it, who didn't, how many times we pushed reminders out, the simple maths and the facts were we had 8 sales equating to £80 income and the outgoings on this show purely for all bands involved excluding ANY venue costs like electric or staff would be TEN FOLD.
In basic terms we would need 80 sales in to touch the sides - 100 to be happy. Not impossible as it's been done year in and year out, but this time was looking very very unlikely we would get even half of that.
Sorry to say and be brutal it's not enough. No one can sustain that kind of loss.
With just 6 more what would have mibbey been sales it still wouldn't have been enough.
SO PLEASE when you see a show get organised, get a ticket if you can and are coming as that is the only way we know the numbers, the only way we can tell how many staff to commit or if it will be viable to go ahead.
OH and worth mentioning again.
Unlike many other venues and ticket platforms we refund your ticket AND booking fee.
So you won't be out of pocket is things implode.
