Due to a complete power outage in the area on Friday 31st where we lost all electrical power from 8.20pm-9.20pm naturally caused a bit of uncertainty on whether or not the show could continue for a period of time as we don't have a crystal ball.
Based on Scottish Power info at the time the power could have been off upto 10.40pm.
As a result and will admit it was make it up as we went along when plunged into darkness to ensure everyone was safe first and foremost then try to work out a solution then hope the power was restored.
As time went on the duty manager announced we may have to postpone the night again not knowing when the power might come back on.
Understandably some decided to leave and head home before the power came back on just 15 mins after the announcement was made. Frustrating would be an understatement.
The vast majority stayed on a bit longer to chat, finish or have more drinks to see what developed.
As the power came on sharper than expected and as the band were mad keen to still provide a great night they went on 9.30pm.
To those who decided to leave before the power came back on please contact alanr@dreadnoughtrock.comto discuss options including a full refund on tickets thst were scanned in at the door.
Sincere apologies to those who did decide to go and missed the show but again no one knew what would happen or when.
Thank you all for your patience and understanding as you can possibly imagine situations like this can also be catastrophic financially to the venue also the band who travelled hundreds of miles to perform.
The compensation is a mere £150 to a business for loss of supply from Scottish Power which wouldn't touch the sides on a sold out show.
