Funeral Service for Billy - Thu 9 April

Funeral Service & Arrangements for Mr Billy Haggarty.

We have been asked on behalf of the family and close friends to share the details for Billy's funeral service to be held on :

THURSDAY 9th APRIL 2026

Service begins at 1pm prompt at Dreadnoughtrock - 14-16 King Street Bathgate. EH48 1AX.

Parking is free across from the venue in the old train station car park but can be busy but worth a shot or use Acredale Car Park that is only a 5 min walk down to King Street.

Please Note : the B&M car park has a duration of stay but is free to use.

There is a wee path from Argos end that takes you out into old train station car park but please watch your time as it uses anpr to issue fines.

Please allow yourself time to get in before the service begins as we will open the doors from 12.45pm. Both Levels will be open from that time.

Seating will be available for anyone who requires it on lower level which is fully accessible for anyone with mobility issues or in a wheelchair.

We would ask those that are still fit and able to stand during the service to do so.

Access to the top level via the side entrance up the side of the building then stairs.

Please note I'm afraid there is no accessible access for anyone with mobility issues or wheelchair to the top level.

The service will be relayed across all the screens/speakers upstairs and down.

We will be also be streaming the service from 12.45pm ONLINE until the service is complete for anyone who can't make it along or stationed at the various Dreadnought outposts around the world.

There is no need to download the app (unless you want to) very limited adverts (if any), no need to set up an account or subscriptions unlike the likes of youtube and Facebook these days which was the main reason for using this platform since covid period.

2pm - Boghead Cemetery - Hardhill Rd, Bathgate EH48 2BW

Parking can be limited I'm afraid so if anyone can car share please mention to those who are looking for a wee lift there and back.

Return to Dreadnoughtrock after the cemetery for the remainder of the afternoon for a wee bite to eat and a beverage or two if you so wish.

We still await instructions if donations can be made on the day and sure will be answered on the day for those who have been asking.
