September Live Shows at Dreadnought Rock: The Full Line-Up
Eight shows. Every Friday and Saturday covered. September at Dreadnought Rock is stacked, and there's something in here whether you're after a cheap covers night or a full-on tribute spectacular. Here's the whole month, sorted, so you can plan your weekends and grab tickets before they're gone.
Quick word on tickets first: every show here sells through Universe, advance prices beat the door every time, and a couple of these nights (looking at you, Queen) have sold out before. Book early, don't get caught outside in the Bathgate rain.
Friday 4 September — Overdrive (Rock Covers)
We open the month with a proper rock covers night from Overdrive. Advance tickets are £4.40, which is about as cheap a night out as you'll find anywhere in West Lothian. Doors 7pm.
Saturday 5 September — Status No (Status Quo Tribute)
Boogie rock the way it should be done. If your Saturday needs a bit of Classic Quo in it, Status No have you covered. Doors 7pm.
Friday 11 September — JoJoCoke (Rock Covers)
Name-your-price ticketing on this one, so there's genuinely no excuse not to get yourself down for another covers night. Doors 7pm.
Saturday 12 September — Guns or Roses (GnR Tribute)
One of the best Guns N' Roses tributes on the circuit, tearing through the classics from start to finish. Doors 7pm.
Friday 18 September — Sound Affex (The Jam Tribute)
Mod classics and punk energy in one set. Sound Affex bring The Jam back to the Dread stage for a Friday night that moves fast. Doors 7pm.
Saturday 19 September — EPIC
A change in schedule with Qween Uk cancelling we are more than happy that EPIC will now join us featuring some really familiar faces and names in the band. Covers from 80's pop, rock, indie and event yacht rock on the way - PAY what you WANT in advance. Doors 7pm.
Friday 25 September — Klass of 99 (The Original 90's Dance Anthem Live Show)
A change of pace for a Friday: a full live band bringing the biggest 90s dancefloor fillers to the stage — Gala, Robin S, N-Trance, Faithless and every hands-in-the-air classic you remember. Doors 7pm.
Saturday 26 September — All Right Now (Free & Bad Company Tribute)
September closes with a classic rock double-header, Free and Bad Company's biggest tunes back to back. A proper send-off for the month. Doors 7pm.
Book ahead, and stick around after
Advance tickets are cheaper than the door on every one of these, and the Queen and GnR nights especially have a habit of selling out beforehand — so don't leave it to the week of. Once the live show wraps, the nightclub keeps going upstairs until 3am every Friday and Saturday (18+, last entry 1.30am, in before 1am please).
Want the line-up in your pocket? The Dreadnought Rock app is free on Google Play and the Apple App Store — turn on notifications and you'll never miss a Friday or Saturday again.
See you down the front.
